for the last 15 years, we are sound has taken independent thinkers, music lovers, and people looking for a challenge, that also happen to be able to sing, and gigged them on stage with pro musicians in Cambridge & London in some exceptional venues - including the Bloomsbury Big Top and the Union Chapel - and even in total darkness.

we’re the reprobate of choirs, we resist conforming to type & we’re sound explorers.

here’s the deal.

we’re a mixed bag. some people that join us have only sung in the shower. some have been in bands. some are choir experts. some haven’t sung since school. some love karaoke. some hate it. we’re adults. alcohol may be involved (optional, obviously). the music is everything. sometimes it’s hard. sometimes it’s easy. often it’s emotional. we’re great friends. you’ll be welcomed. you’ll be encouraged. you’ll also be challenged (kindly).
